Free interactive maths games for KS3

Ohbayashi Maths is a collection of visual maths games created by a maths teacher to help students explore ideas through patterns, blocks, machines and balances. These activities support Year 7 and Year 8 learning in sequences, algebra and equations.

Use the games in your classroom

Start with Learn or Explore to demonstrate an idea. Ask pupils to predict what will happen and explain their reasoning before revealing the result. Use Challenge for practice, then discuss how the visual model connects to the calculation.

All four games are free to play in a browser without a student account. Choose a game above to begin.
